Quaker Meetings embrace all peoples and all faiths, all who seek contact with a universal practice of love, inclusion, and service to others.
In the mid-17th Century the Quaker movement (aka "Friends") was born in England during a time of political and religious upheaval. Quakerism gained many seekers of a simpler, purified spiritual path. Quakers stress the importance of inward and direct experience of God, instead of following a fixed doctrine or ritual. Quakers recognize the potential for godliness inherant in all human beings, regardless of religious background.
